Day 1: Arrival

Meeting point will be in Turin (the capital of the region). 
Suggested arrival will be at Milan or Genoa airports, which have easy transportation to Turin; you're pick up point. 

Upon your arrival you will be driven by private transport into the heart of Piedmont, Le Langhe region. We will spend our first 5 nights in Le Langhe.

Our first night will be an opening celebration of the week. We will host a dinner together, complemented with local wine and food followed by a brief introduction of everyone and our weekly schedule.

DAY 2: Alba - Barolo

We will depart following breakfast to the city center of Alba located just a short drive away.

Alba is considered the capital of white truffles and receives an enormous amount of attention each year for this specific variety of fungi that is almost exclusive to the region. 

Upon arrival we will take a short walk around the main part of town, and then allow you to explore the city center, we will then meet for lunch in the city center at a local Osteria. 

After lunch we will drive to Barolo, exloring the rich and world renowned wine that takes its name. 



Day 3: Bra - Cheese - Slow Food

We will begin our day in Bra, a small city located south of the capital Turin. Bra is the headquarters of the Slow Food movement and the location of the University of Gastronomic Sciences. 

Today you will get dirty! Cooking it up in a local restaurant, learning to prepare some traditional local recipes with a local chef.

After your cooking class and lunch we will have a short break, allowing you to better see the city and relax before we meet at Giolito Cheeses. Considered the best artisanal cheese maker and seller in Bra, we will hold another seminar that includes tasting, identifying and examining cheeses typical of Piedmont.

Following our visit to Giolito we will visit Locale, for an aperitivo. Locale is a Slow Food-student run business specializing in local high quality products.

Day 4 : La Morra - Shepherd’s cheese 

After breakfast we head to the small village of La Morra. The town possesses stunning panoramic views of the Langhe and the Alps. La Morra is well known for wine, hazelnut and cheese production. 

Once in La Morra we will travel to visit a local Shepard and embark on a true hands-on experience of cheese making.

Realizing cheese production from start to finish, you will see the making of fresh artisanal cheese as the local Shepard guides us through every process.


Lunch will be in La Morra at a local Osteria.

Day 5: Coffee - Wine

In the morning we will visit Bra again for an amazing in-depth workshop surrounding coffee and chocolate tasting.

After, you will be free to discover lunch on your own before we regroup to head for our Barolo tastings. 
The Ceretto winery, one of the most beautiful wineries in the Langhe region is our destination.

Holding a wine tasting and seminar on one of the most iconic wine varieties in Italy if not the world, Barolo.

We will visit the cellars and walk through the production methods and ageing processes along with holding a Q and A session with the head wine maker.
Lunch will be held at the winery. 

Day 6: Turin - Chocolate - City Nightlife

Relocating to Turin! (Rural to City life) Accommodation,  Turin Palace Hotel . As the capital of Piedmont, and once itself the capital of Italy, Turin holds enormous cultural and historical elements within Italy and rests prominently at the base of the Alps which surround you like a wall. 

Lunch at the locally famous Slow yet fast food restaurant Mac bun, a.k.a (M** Bun) serving the finest Piedmontese beef burgers! 

Chocolate is King! In the late afternoon, we will explore the best chocolate producers in Torino. 

That night, come and let us show you the Turin nightlife: Music, food, and drinks!

Day 7: Explore the City! 

Free day!

Explore and visit Turin on your own.

We recommend visiting the iconic cafes of Turin as well as the grand and picturesque piazzas like Vittorio, Castello and piazza San Carlo.

Also in Turin are the National Cinema Museum and the Egyptian Museum. 

Optional: To conclude our time together we will organize a group Aperitivo and our farewell dinner at Ristorante Consorzio, one of the best Slow Food restaurants in Turin!

Day 8: Departure 

After breakfast we will depart.

Due to the possibility of alternative travel plans everyone will be given the correct information and assistance to reach their departure point, i.e. driven to the train station, airpot (Turin).
